How to Create Your Persona in Business and Boost Confidence

In today's fast-paced world, building a successful coaching or online course business requires not only having the right knowledge but also presenting yourself confidently and authentically. In this blog post, we will discuss how you can use the energy of other people to create your persona in business while staying true to yourself. We will also share tips on managing your state of mind for optimal performance.

Using Energy from Others:

While it is essential to be authentic and avoid copying others, there is value in observing successful teachers, coaches, or mentors who inspire you. By studying their style, communication skills, tone of voice, sentence structure and even body language you can learn how they engage with their audience.

One way to do this is by watching a podcast episode or webinar before recording your own content. This allows you to borrow some of their energy and apply it when creating courses or social media posts. However, instead of plagiarizing someone else's work it's important that you adapt what you've learned into something unique for yourself.

Managing Your State Of Mind:

Your mindset plays a significant role in determining your level of confidence when creating content for clients or promoting products online. Here are some practical tips on managing your state-of-mind effectively:

1) Accept Yourself: Recognize that self-worth comes from within; believe that people will love listening to what you have say because it has value.

2) Cultivate Confidence Before Results: Develop a sense of unshakable confidence regardless whether success has been achieved yet.

3) Practice Makes Perfect: Continuously record content (e.g., podcasts videos), which helps build familiarity with speaking publically while increasing comfort levels.

4) Challenge Yourself: Take on tasks that are outside of your comfort zone to grow in confidence.

5) Mirror Successful People: Observe successful people and imagine how they would approach a situation if they were in your shoes.

Staying Authentic:

While learning from others is important, it's essential not to lose sight of who you are. Remain true to yourself by maintaining your unique voice and perspective. By doing so, you will create an authentic persona that resonates with your target audience.

Conclusion:

Creating a persona for your business doesn't have to mean being someone you're not. By observing and learning from those who inspire you while managing your state of mind effectively, you can develop a confident and authentic presence that appeals to clients or customers. As a result, this will help drive success for both coaching or online course businesses alike. So start implementing these tips today, and watch as the growth follows suit!

The Most Important Parts Of Highly Converting Landing Pages

In the ever-evolving world of digital marketing, one thing remains constant: the importance of an effective landing page. The best landing pages not only captivate your audience but also inspire them to take action. But how do you create a successful landing page that converts? Look no further; we've got you covered. Based on insights from a landing page expert, we've assembled the ultimate guide to crafting high-converting landing pages. Let's dive in!

The Headline and Story Section: Capture Attention and Resonate with Your Audience

The headline and story section are the first things your visitors see, and they set the tone for the rest of the page. Your headline should be attention-grabbing and speak to the desired outcome your visitors are seeking. For instance, "Skyrocket Your Business with Proven Digital Marketing Strategies!" is a strong headline for a digital marketing service.

The story section is where you connect with your audience by addressing their pain points and challenges. Tell a story that resonates with them and demonstrate how your product or service can help them overcome these challenges.

The "Meat and Potatoes" Section: Showcase Benefits and Build Trust

The "Meat and Potatoes" section comes right after the headline and story section. Here, you dive deep into the details of your product or service. Break this section into two parts: "What You Will Learn" and "Who You Are."

In the "What You Will Learn" section, focus on the specific benefits your visitors will receive. For example, if you're promoting a webinar, outline the key insights your visitors will gain from attending.

The "Who You Are" section is all about establishing trust and credibility. Introduce yourself, discuss your experience in the industry, and share your mission to help your visitors achieve their goals.

The Free Event Section: Project Your Visitors into the Future

The free event section, a newer trend in landing page design, is where you showcase the value of attending your event. Highlight the benefits your visitors will receive and consider including testimonials from past attendees to reinforce the event's value.

The Bio Section: Humanize and Connect with Your Audience

The bio section is where you create a personal connection with your visitors. Share your experience, goals, and passion for helping others. Including a photo of yourself adds a human touch, making it easier for your visitors to trust you.

The List of Topics Section: Break Down the Learning Journey

In the list of topics section, provide a detailed breakdown of what your visitors will learn. Use a bulleted list to outline the key takeaways from your product or service. You can also include a brief explanation of each topic to give your audience a clear understanding of what they'll gain.

Conclusion: Crafting Your High-Converting Landing Page

Creating a successful landing page requires time, effort, and a deep understanding of your target audience. By focusing on the headline and story section, breaking down the "Meat and Potatoes" section, and incorporating a free event section, bio section, and list of topics section, you'll be well on your way to crafting a high-converting landing page.

Remember, the ultimate goal of a landing page is to inspire your visitors to take action. Keep your message clear and concise, and ensure that every element on the page contributes to this goal. By following this expert marketer's blueprint, you'll be on your way to crafting landing pages that not only captivate your audience but also drive conversions and help grow your business.

The Cost-effective Way To Do Paid Advertising

Are you a coach, mentor, trainer, author, or thought leader trying to reach more people?

You want to grow your businesses and build your brands to six, seven, and eight figures.

If this is you, then paid advertising is the number one way to achieve the results you always wanted.

Do you know we have got all of our clients in our business through paid advertising, and also all the businesses we've helped grow to eight figures have gotten their clients through paid advertising?

But without the proper strategies, blindly running ads will make you just lose money on the ads.

How can you make sure that your paid ads produce results?

In this article, I will talk about how you can make more money with your paid advertising, and bring your cost down with a little-known fact about how paid ads work.

Important things to know before running paid ads

It may be surprising for you when you know the two most important things that will make paid ads produce real results - your offer and your sales copy. When you do these two things right, your paid ads will surely bring you leads.

Your Offer

Your offer is something that you are selling or promoting.

It is an incentive to join a mailing list, or click on an advertisement, by which the customer receives something in return - usually a digital product such as an educational course, webinar, training program, e-Book etc. - as a reward for signing up.

It should have a clear and compelling message that compels people to act on it. Your offer should be as specific as possible so that it resonates with your target audience.

Sales Copy

A sales copy is a piece of written material that is used to persuade customers to buy or take action on an offer.

It should be well-written, eye-catching, and persuasive enough so that people can’t help but click on your ad. A good sales copy will make sure that your target audience understands what you are offering and should create desire in them to take action on your offer.

Offers, Sales Copy & Paid Ads Charges

Facebook, Instagram, and Tiktok will actually charge you more money based on your copy.

Yes, you heard it right.

They charge based on how specific your offer is and how narrow your target audience is.

Say I run two ads for two separate offers that says -

  1. How to create the offer of your dreams that makes you tons of money?

  2. How does sales copy determine the cost of the paid ads?

So, Facebook or other social media platforms will charge me more for one of these ads. The difference may be moderate like 100 bucks or even 10 times the cost.

This means, I can get a client from one ad by spending as high as $1000, while with the another I can get it with just $100.

The only difference will be the initial offer copy and you are charged 10 times more.

This is exactly where more people lose money in paid ads - focusing just on traffic and paying $1000 for what you can get for $100.

Be specific about your offers and copy

One thing that you need to do to charge you less is to be specific enough in your copy about who you help.

You may have the heart to help a wide range of people. So, your copy may be too vague and generic. Such ads don't work and will not reach your target audience.

So, in order to make your paid ads work, your copy needs to be specific. Not just to who's going to sign up, but it needs to be specific to one specific type of person, your buyer, people who are going to spend money with you.

This means you are going to exclude every other person from your target audience, no matter if you can help them or not.

Precisely, as a coach, you need to know that your market is those ,

  • who you can reach

  • who you can help

  • who will be willing to spend money on your offers

Your copy for your target people

Now that you know who your ideal target audience is, you will have to write the copy accordingly.

Attract only your prospects

Your offer copy should be tailored to those specific people, even if it's just 5% of the wide group who you have the potential to help. Your copy needs to make them feel like they finally found something special and unique for them.

Repel others

Write this copy only to this narrowed-down audience - literally excluding or alienating all others even though you feel you may disappoint them. Anyone who isn't going to get great results from your offer should be removed from the copy.

The Algorithmic Equation of the Target Audience

Again, you must determine your target audience specifically - the people who are a good fit to work with you and who are not.

But, the problem is you might say, how do I know who to help?

Let me share a case study with my client Rick Pino to give you a brief idea.

When working with Rick Pino, a worship coach who helps people publish their songs, we ran two separate campaigns:

  1. To Christian songwriters, the right people of faith who write songs.

  2. To worship songwriters, who write just worship songs which actually a subgenre of Christian music.

So, not all Christian songwriters make worship music. There's a lot of country music, Christian music, pop music, etc... Rick could be able to help anyone of them to publish music.

But we witnessed the difference in niching down and not in the results.

When we ran our offer, with the word 'Christian songwriters' we were planning to cast a wider net and reach more people. The results were abysmal. It lost a ton of money. It seemed like a good idea. But it lost a ton of money.

We found that by turning away everybody who wasn't in the worship niche with the word 'worship songwriters' his profits went up in his coaching business.

AI tools for writing the best copy

There are various AI-powered tools available out there that can help you write better, more specific, and more effective copies.

First off: Always remember these things when you use AI for a copy.

  • Don't let AI turn off your brain. Always stay creative and make sure you are in control of your message. Use AI to generate ideas, not write the entire copy from scratch.

  • AI can't write copy that is tailored to your audience until you have a great understanding of your audience and guide AI toward it.

How do we use AI tools for our copy?

We use AI tools to write better offer copy and optimize it for better results. We have various methodologies and frameworks to make the right use of AI tools.

One of the best tools for using artificial intelligence for sales copy is jasper.ai.

Jasper.ai is essentially like the popular chat GPT with a better algorithm on top of it, that writes better ad copy for your Facebook ads, and better sales copy for your landing pages.

I talk more about these in my coaching program.

If you haven't joined yet, the doors are not open, and you can join the waiting list for when we do open the doors to jump into that. And to get the help that you need to start getting more clients in your business where I walk you through this process. I support you along the way. That's the number one thing that people say is the difference maker with our business.

Figuring out your target audience

As said, the number one thing that's going to affect your offer, your ads, and your cost per client acquisition is your copy.

So, always make sure that your copy is laser targeted to who's gonna buy from you.

But, how can you figure that out?

Feedback Loop

The feedback loop is the number one way to write your copy. When you run virtual events, or live events online, have a mechanism that surveys everybody who registers. Ask them what's their biggest struggle and biggest problem.

Ask questions like:

  • What are your problems?

  • What are you struggling with?

  • What would you like to learn?

Your copy for your offers must literally have the answers you got in the survey. You can run it through Jasper or Chat GPT to make it better.

Then, you can create offers that just give people what they already told you that they're struggling with. That's how you can attract your clients. It also brings the cost down.

So, the idea is

  • Create a virtual event where you're going to teach some kind of a topic

  • Base your topic on that feedback loop that people give you

  • Use it in the copy to attract people

  • Give them the solution and take it to the next level

Our client Rick Pino gets over a million dollars a month. It took us almost 18 months of doing this process. It'll take about 12 to 18 months for you to reach that seven to eight-figure level. But you can reach six figures in about 90 days.

To sum it up, offers and copy are the two most important aspects of running a successful business. You must create opportunities to listen to your market and put it in your copy to attract the right people. Repel everyone who doesn't want what you just found on the feedback loop.

This will cut your cost down for paid ads and improve your profits.

This method makes the most amount of money for us as well as our clients.

Does this help you, do share it with somebody who might need it.

How to overcome Perfectionism using Parts Work Therapy

Perfectionism is a psychological condition that involves unrealistic expectations, self-criticism and anxiety over mistakes or failure to meet those standards. It is a common problem that can cause distress and interfere with the ability to enjoy life.

Perfectionism is a challenging and all-too-common struggle that can leave individuals feeling overwhelmed, anxious, and stressed. As perfectionists strive to meet their own high expectations, they may find it difficult to cope with failure or change.

Fortunately, there are effective treatments available for those who wish to break free from the shackles of perfectionism. One such treatment is Parts Work Therapy (PWT), which has been used successfully to help people overcome perfectionism without sacrificing their sense of accomplishment or self-worth. Part work therapy helps people understand their sub personalities and find healthy ways to cope with it.

Drawbacks of Perfectionism

All-or-Nothing Thinking

One of the biggest drawbacks of perfectionism is all-or-nothing thinking. This type of thinking leads you to believe that if something isn't perfect, it's a complete failure. This black-and-white way of thinking can lead to a lot of unnecessary stress and anxiety, as you're constantly striving for an unattainable standard.

Difficulty Completing tasks

Another drawback of perfectionism is that it can make it difficult to complete tasks. This is because you may find yourself spending too much time on one particular aspect of a task, while neglecting other important aspects. This can lead to unfinished projects and a sense of frustration.

Procrastination

Another common symptom of perfectionism is procrastination. This is because you may be afraid to start a task lest you do it imperfectly. This fear of imperfection can lead to a lot of wasted time as you put off starting projects that you're never going to be satisfied with.

Missed Opportunities

Perfectionism can also lead to missed opportunities. This is because you may be so focused on achieving perfection that you miss out on other important things in life. For instance, you may pass up on a job opportunity because it's not your "dream job," or you may miss out on spending time with friends and family because you're too busy working on a project.

Relationship difficulties

Perfectionism can also cause difficulties in relationships. This is because you may have unrealistic expectations for yourself and others, which can lead to disappointment and conflict. Additionally, your need for control may make it difficult for you to compromise or accept help from others, which can further strain relationships.

Difficulty Making Decisions

Perfectionists often have difficulty making decisions because they want everything to be just right. This can lead to indecision and a lot of wasted time as you agonize over every little detail

Difficulty Letting Go

Another common problem for perfectionists is difficulty letting go. Once you've started down the path of perfectionism, it can be hard to let go of the need for things to be just right. This can lead to obsessive behaviors and an inability to enjoy life's simple pleasures.

Excessive Criticism

Perfectionists are often their own worst critics. They are never satisfied with their accomplishments and are always looking for ways to improve. This constant self-criticism can lead to low self-esteem and a lack of confidence.

Perfectionism can limit your success.

While it may seem like striving for perfection will help you achieve your goals, in reality it often has the opposite effect. This is because perfectionists often set such high standards that they are never able to reach them, which leads to feelings of disappointment and discouragement.

That being said, perfectionism hinders our growth and success. That's when Parts Work Therapy comes to the rescue. The goal of parts work therapy is to identify and understand the underlying motivations for perfectionism, and then to create strategies to manage it more effectively.

1. What are sub personalities under part work therapy?

Sub personalities under parts work therapy is a type of therapy that focuses on helping people to understand and work through the different parts of their personality. The Parts Work Therapy is a form of psychotherapy used to identify, understand and heal sub personalities within oneself. Sub personalities are thought-patterns created as coping mechanisms during difficult times in life; they become so ingrained that it feels like each sub personality has its own distinct identity.

By breaking down our individual identities with Parts Work Therapy, it allows us to access these subpersonalities and provides insight into their desires and needs. Our acceptance of them brings healing to our internal struggles by allowing us to see why these parts exist, how they play out in our lives, and ultimately how we can best manage them.

Through this therapy the goal is wholeness of the self which equalizes all parts making them more connected and harmonious within ourselves. The goal of this type of therapy is to help people to become more aware of the different aspects of their personality and to learn how to integrate them into a cohesive whole.

2. How can identifying sub personalities under parts work therapy help people?

This type of therapy can help people in a number of ways. First, it can help people to become more aware of the different parts of their personality. This can be helpful in and of itself, as it can help people to better understand themselves.

Sub personalities under parts work therapy can be an extremely helpful form of psychotherapy for those looking to improve their well-being. The principle behind this type of therapy is that each person contains a variety of different sub personalities or 'parts', each with its own attitudes and beliefs, known collectively as ego states.

By working with these parts, people can address underlying trauma or conflicting emotions which may have been contributing towards mental health issues. Through discovering these blocks, individuals can become more accepting and tolerant of themselves, as well as others, allowing them to utilize effective coping strategies and better manage their thoughts and feelings in order to lead happy lives.

Ultimately, by exploring the various facets of one's inner-self through sub personalities under parts work therapy, those seeking support can move beyond any past traumas they may have faced and heal in an environment that encourages self-growth.

3. What are some of the benefits of identifying sub personalities under parts work therapy?

There are a number of benefits associated with this type of therapy.

Parts work therapy is a popular form of psychotherapy that applies to individuals struggling with a wide variety of mental health issues. Developed by Richard Schwartz, the goal of this therapy is to help identify and create relationships between different aspects of our personality, namely the sub-personalities or "parts" within us.

This type of therapy has been found to be remarkably effective in addressing issues such as traumatic memories and overwhelming feelings of anxiety, guilt and shame. Utilization of parts work can give the individual a sense of understanding and control over the conflicting internal parts that make up their personality.

Through better recognition and autonomy of each part, greater harmony may be achieved amongst them, allowing for insights into how one aspect may influence another, ultimately leading to improved psychological stability.

Additionally, this type of therapy can also help people to learn how to work through the different parts of their personality, which can lead to a more cohesive sense of self. Additionally, this type of therapy has also been shown to be effective in treating a variety of mental health disorders, such as depression and anxiety.

4. Are there any risks with parts work therapy?

There are no known risks associated with this type of therapy. However, as with any type of therapy, there is always the potential for adverse reactions in some people. If you are considering this type of therapy, it is important to speak with your doctor or mental health professional first to ensure that it is right for you.

5. What should I expect if I decide to try sub personalities under parts work therapy?

If you decide to try this type of therapy, you should expect to meet with your therapist on a regular basis. During these sessions, your therapist will help you to explore the different parts of your personality and will work with you on integrating these parts into a cohesive whole. These sessions typically last for an hour or more and are usually scheduled once per week.

The therapist will help you explore the different aspects of your personality that contribute to your perfectionistic tendencies, such as fear of failure or negative core beliefs about yourself. With this understanding, you can learn how to manage and respond to perfectionism in a healthy way, such as setting realistic goals or accepting mistakes.

The therapist can also help you identify the areas of your life where perfectionism is holding you back and find ways to move forward. This may include acknowledging that some things cannot be perfect and learning strategies for self-compassion and acceptance. You can also develop healthy coping mechanisms to deal with stress or difficult emotions, such as journaling or practicing relaxation techniques like mindfulness meditation.

How To Implement IFS

You also need to ensure that everyone around you understands what Parts work therapy is and why it’s important for you or your organization's success. Once these conditions are met, you can begin introducing exercises and activities designed to help employees identify their parts and learn how to work with them in productive ways.

1. Understand What Parts work therapy Is

Parts work therapy is a model of psychotherapy that views each person as having multiple sub-personalities, each with its own perspective and qualities. IFS therapists work with clients to help them understand and heal the various parts of their personalities.

2. Identify Your Sub-Personalities

The first step in implementing Part work therapy into your life is to identify your sub-personalities. These are the different parts of your personality that you may be unaware of. To do this, you can journal about your thoughts and feelings, or you can speak to a therapist who can help you identify your sub-personalities.

3. Understand Your Parts

Once you have identified your sub-personalities, you must understand their individual qualities. Each part of your personality has its own unique perspective and set of experiences. It is important to understand these perspectives in order to heal the various parts of your personality.

4. Heal Your Wounds

Many people have wounds from their past that have never been healed. These wounds can be the result of trauma, abuse, or neglect. If these wounds are not healed, they can lead to negative behaviors and patterns in your life. IFS therapy can help you to identify and heal these wounds so that you can move on with your life.

5. Learn To Listen To Your Parts

One of the most important aspects of IFS therapy is learning to listen to your parts. This means understanding what each part of your personality is trying to tell you. Often, our parts are trying to protect us from pain or hurt, but they may not be aware of the best way to do this. By listening to your parts, you can learn how to better deal with the challenges in your life.

6. Connect With Your Parts

Another important aspect of IFS therapy is connecting with your parts. This means building a relationship with each part of your personality so that you can understand its needs and experiences. Often, our parts feel disconnected from us because we have never taken the time to get to know them. By connecting with your parts, you can start to heal the disconnection within yourself.

7. Practice Self-Compassion

One of the most important aspects of Parts work therapy is self-compassion. This means treating yourself with kindness, understanding, and respect. It also means accepting yourself as you are, flaws and all.

8. Practice Mindfulness

Mindfulness is another important aspect of Parts work therapy. This means being present at the moment and accepting things as they are, without judgment. Mindfulness can help you to become more aware of your thoughts and feelings, which can be helpful in managing them effectively.

9. Set boundaries with your family and friends

Another important aspect of Parts work therapy is setting boundaries with your family and friends. This means communicating clearly about what you do and do not want to share with others. It also means respecting other people's boundaries and not taking things personally when they say no to you.

Parts work therapy is an effective way to help people who suffer from perfectionism. It involves understanding the underlying motivations for the need for perfectionism, creating strategies to manage it more effectively, acknowledging areas of life where perfectionism is holding you back, and developing healthier coping strategies to deal with stress or difficult emotions. With the help of your therapist and a dedication to growth, this type of therapy can provide the tools necessary for finding peace of mind. If you are looking to understand more about this topic, this book is amazing.

Although perfectionism is a difficult problem to overcome, part work therapy can provide the tools and support you need to make progress and live a happier, more fulfilling life. With the help of your therapist and a commitment to growth, you can learn how to manage perfectionism and find peace of mind.

Find Your Coaching Niche

If you are a coach, a mentor or a trainer who is wondering how to make real money through coaching and digital courses, then this is for you.

The niche is a crucial component to making money as an entrepreneur. It's often overlooked by coaches, mentors and trainers who are eager for success but don't know where they should start or what their next move must be because there seems to be so many options available at first glance - which can actually make things more difficult than necessary!

Finding the right niche takes time; however once found (and I'll show you how), this becomes one simple part that most entrepreneurs miss out on: getting relevant clients and helping the right people who actually need your help.

If you are confused why should I niche down and how should I do it, simply read to get a clear picture of finding your niche.

Mindset Matters

The first step in finding the right niche is to have the right mindset. Before delving into the specifics, it's essential to understand that you are about to embark on a journey of self-discovery. You'll be exploring where your passions lie, what kind of people do you actually want to help and why should they pay for your services.

That's a lot to cover and it's not something that can be done in one day - it takes time, effort and dedication. So, the first step is to get into the correct mindset.

Have an open mind

You must be willing to explore your options and taking risks in order to find a niche that works for you and your target audience. This means trying out new things, experimenting with different ideas and being open to opportunities that may come your way.

Don't try to please everyone

When deciding on your niche, remember that it's impossible to please everyone. You must focus on the group of people who will benefit most from your services and tailor your offerings to suit their needs. This means being aware of who you're targeting and what they need in order to get the best results.

Focus on who needs your service

Stop trying to help everyone who might want your service. Not everyone will be willing to spend money on it or be interested in what you have to offer. Instead, focus on those who truly need and can benefit from your service. This will be the people who will be willing to pay for it.

Don't let your beliefs come in the way

The most common hurdle for coaches, mentors, and trainers is the fear of going against their integrity and belief in choosing people who can pay you well. Remember you have the right to expect to get paid for all the effort you put in and the results you deliver.

Just because you wish to help people doesn't mean you should do it for free.

Fast money is not a bad money

When you charge higher for your coaching service that delivers real results, don't think of it as something illegal.

It is you help people with their problems and getting paid for that. If you can help someone by providing the right advice, then don't hesitate to charge a higher price for it.

Finding Profitable Niche

Finding a niche to focus on is easy. But finding a profitable niche that you can actually make money from is harder.

Without finding a profitable niche, your business will never be successful. You need to find the right niche that can actually generate income and make you money.

You cannot always charge $17 for your service and expect to get clients. You need to find a niche where people are willing to pay for what you offer.

But how to find it? Here are a few steps that can help.

Research the market

The best way to find a profitable niche is to research the market. See what people are looking for, what kind of services they need, and if there is any gap in the market that you can fill.

Look at competitors

Once you have identified a potential niche, take a look at your competitors. Check out their websites and social media accounts to get a better understanding of their services and fees. This will help you compare your offerings and pricing so you can come up with something that is better than the competition.

Understand customer needs

After researching the market and competitors, it's time to understand what your customers need. You need to understand why they're looking for such services, what their expectations are and what is it that you can do to meet those expectations.

It's also important to understand the customer buying cycle and how they decide whether or not to purchase from you.

Test your ideas

Once you have identified a profitable niche and created a plan for delivering services within it, it's time to test your ideas. You can do this by creating surveys, conducting focus groups and testing out different marketing strategies.

Testing will help you determine if the market is ready to pay for your services or not. It will also give you an idea of how much people are willing to pay for them.

Focus on 'Who' instead of 'What'

There is one thing about the niche that most beginner coaches miss to understand.

Your niche is not what you do or what you teach, it's about who you help.

Your target audience is all that matters in niching down.

If you are focused on just what you do and what you want to coach about, then it is not going to work as you might expect. You need to focus on who you want to help and what they want help with. This is what will set you apart from your competition and help you build a successful coaching business.

So, ask yourself

  • Who do I want to serve?

  • What are the challenges that I can help them overcome through my services?

  • And what kind of results can they expect when they work with me?

Once you have the answers to these questions, you will have a much better understanding of the niche that you should focus on.

Case Study

If you are still not sure about your niche, you can also take a look at case studies from other successful coaches and trainers. Here is a story that will help you understand the various aspects of starting a business and how finding the right niche helped a client grow.

Rick Pino - a worship coach

Rick Pino is a worship coach who helps Christian songwriters launch their music. I have been working with him since 2017.

Rick Pino started exactly where you are right now - finding out the perfect niche.

He started as a basic discipleship trainer who taught people about worship. He wished to help every Christian out there and wanted to help them know what they need to do to grow spiritually.

But, not everyone wants to spend money to let him teach about it.

Even though he wanted to create that massive impact on people, he later understood the need to find the right set of people who have invested their time and energy in something and want more help to do it right.

That is where he niched down to like a 2% of this broad set of people who have actually written worship songs and wanted to publish them.

So, now he pivoted his focus to this group of songwriters who have taken the effort to get their music out and helped them publish and distribute worship songs.

One thing to note is, at first, this idea of selecting people to help nauseated him, because he thought it is not a healthy in his faith. He wanted to help people grow closer to god - which is not a profitable business model.

However, when helping the tiny group of people who actually take effort to write songs, he was able to make a living and a greater impact.

So, this is the power of niching down. It helps you find that tiny pocket of people who would want your help and are willing to pay for it as well.

Focus on your Target Audience

As said, a lot coaches fail because they are focused on giving what they want to give people. They don't think about who their target audience is and what they want. They are so focused on force-feeding people what they have to offer.

However, if you want to be successful in your coaching business, you need to think about who your target audience is and what their needs are. You need to develop programs, services and content that will actually help them achieve the results they desire.

When you understand this, your profit will be on autopilot. In fact, making money fast takes less energy than taking the slow route. The most important things you must do to achieve it are addressing your fears and beliefs.

Stop convincing people who have no money to buy your offer

Just because you wish to help people and create an impact, it does not mean you will make money. You cannot try to convince everyone who has the problem to buy your solution. Not everyone has the money or the interest to buy what you offer.

And, not everyone is your ideal client - focus on people who will be able to pay for you and help them get rid of the problem in their lives. If you do this, you will make money faster than ever before.

Learn to repel

When you want to focus only on your target audience, it is important to understand how to repel people who are not your ideal clients. If you fail to do this, you can easily lose focus and put your energy in the wrong direction - wasting a lot of time and money.

When you learn to repel the right people, it will help you target your ideal audience more accurately. This helps you save energy, time and money - which in turn helps you increase your profits.

Identify your passion

To find the profitable niche for your coaching business, you need to identify something that you are passionate about. Something that really excites and motivates you.

You should be able to talk endlessly about it and have a strong desire to help people with it. This will make sure that you enjoy the process of helping people through your services and programs - which in turn make sure that you stay passionate and motivated to do your best.

What skills you bring to the table is an important thing you must identify in order to find the right niche for you. You need not have to an expert, but should know little more than who you are helping. You should have the ability to connect and communicate it the right way to the people who need it.

So stop connecting your worth with what you know. Your worth is in how you use whatever you know to solve someone's problem.

That's why only on identifying your passion and relating it to helping other people who need it will drive you towards success.

Crafting the right message and offer

As said, it's not your expertise that decides how much money you can make as a coach. It's in the way you convey the message to your ideal client.

You need to craft the message in such a way that it speaks directly to their needs and desires, allowing them to immediately see how you can be of help.

Ask yourself:

  • Who are you selling to?

  • What is your target customer passionate about?

  • What's the biggest objection that people have to getting that outcome?

  • What's the biggest thing that stops people from getting that outcome?

  • What's the biggest influence of my target customers decision making?

  • What can I sell or create to serve these target customers?

  • Is it Do It Yourself, done with you or done for you?

Here, do it yourself will be something like my podcast episodes or youtube videos that will offer a lot of free advice. Done with you will be something like my webinars or coaching groups, where they can get direct help from me. And done for you will be one-on-one high end coaching sessions where I offer my services to solve their problem and make sure they get the desired results.

So, when you can answer these questions, you will know how to craft your perfect offer. Eventually, you will attract your target customer who wants to buy from you.

What you're offering is a painkiller to the pain that your customer has. Your messaging should be in such a way that they have to first feel the pain so that you can point them to the solution.

The right offer is one that cures their problem and gives them a tangible result as well as gives you the profit you deserve.

Before deciding your offer, have a clear understanding of:

  • The positive impact your product or service will provide

  • Risks involved if you can't sell it

  • Resources you need to create it

  • Skills that you need to gain to create the offer

  • How to get it in the hands of people?

  • Reasons why people will buy it

Answering these questions you can hone your offer and messaging to the right market. You can also find other products and services that you can include in your offer to make it more attractive to potential buyers.

Where do people get stuck?

There are five main stages where people get stuck in creating the right offer and selling it profitably.

Not figuring out the right niche

Your niche is what you want to focus on and specialize in. You need to identify your area of expertise and the people you want to serve.

Not having a sales copy written

The right messaging in the sales copy is important if you want to make money. You need to know the right words that will engage your customer and get them excited about what they are buying.

Your impactful sales copy goes into this landing page. And when optimized correctly, this can help you drive more sales.

Not creating opportunities

In order to make sales, you need to network and connect with people. This way you can create opportunities for yourself and your business. You can create partnerships with people who are in the same niche as you, or even with influencers to help spread the word about your product or service.

You can also attend events where you can meet like minded people and make valuable connections.

Not being consistent in networking

Networking is an ongoing process. You need to be consistent in reaching out to people, attending events and connecting with influencers.

This way you can stay top of mind for potential customers.

Effective strategy to find your passionate and profitable niche

Now that you know finding your niche is important, you might be wondering how exactly do you figure out the best niche out of many options out there. Here is an effective strategy - a play based one - that will help you find a niche that's both passionate and profitable.

There is a book called Play, that talks about how play shapes the brain, opens the imagination and invigorates the soul. As per this book, when you are not much focused on deciding something and in a fun mood to just go along the flow, you tend to make the right decision for yourself.

So, in order to find a passionate and profitable niche, here is what you can do -

  • Step 1: Brainstorm a list of topics or interests - Start by writing down topics or interests that you are passionate about. This can be anything from woodworking to baking, blogging to programming.

  • Step 2: Have fun - Yes, you heard it right. Go for a walk, have fun with your family, or just do something that you really enjoy. Here you simply let your brain relax and not focus too much on the decision.

  • Step 3: Connect the dots - Now that you are having fun, you might start to see patterns or connect the dots. You could get ideas and insights on how different interests can be merged together to create something unique and profitable. You could easily identify 2 or 3 ideas that actually interests and resonates with you. And this is where you need to start your research on - how to tone it down to profitable target market and how to position your offer.

Immersing yourself in the world of your target customer

Understanding your target customers is the key to success. You need to know what keeps them excited, where they hang out and how you can reach them with your offer.

The best way to do this is by immersing yourself in the world of your target customer.

Here are a few things you can do to understand your target customer and their needs.

Get in their shoes and explore the web

Think the way your target customer will and search for what they might search. See what results you get. Brainstorm ways how you can position your business in that place.

Talk to people in your target market

Reach out to people in your target market, ask them what they are looking for and how you can help. Talking with people one on one would bring in a lot of valuable insights that you wouldn't have got while researching online.

Analyse competitors

Take a look at what your competitors are doing. Analyse how they are positioning their offers and what makes them stand out. This would give you the idea of what you need to do so that your offer stands out in the market.

Analyse your target people's social media

Take a look at what your target people are talking about on social media. This will help you understand the type of content that resonates with them and how to capture their attention.

Understand their pain points

Take the time to get to know your target market's pain points. Find out what are their biggest challenges, problems and frustrations that you can solve with your offer.

Your target people's language

Listen to the language your target people are using. This will help you to use similar words when writing content and communicating with them.

These techniques will help you identify what is it exactly that gets them excited and how you can add value to their lives with your unique offering.

Take the risk

Lastly, it is important that you do not submit to fear or self-doubt. Take the risk and believe in yourself and your offer. You may not get it right in the first go, but that is ok. Keep on refining your offers until you find something that resonates with your target people.

The primary reasons why most people fail to succeed in the business is:

  • setting unrealistic goals

  • not having necessary skills

  • doubting their skills and submitting to fear of losing

Thus, it is important to have a steady and strong mindset to be profitable in your business.

Conclusion

Taking the right steps to grow your business involves understanding your target customers and their needs, immersing yourself in their world, researching what they are looking for, and then taking the risk to launch an offer that solves their problems. With patience and dedication, you can make your business successful. Good luck on your journey!
